In a long standing relationship with the SQA, we undertook a national and local media relations campaign, generating 80 newspaper and online hits in three months for the national ‘A’ exhibition of artworks by school students Scotland-wide.
Working with the National Gallery of Scotland, students and teachers to launch the event, we issued follow-up media releases throughout the three-month exhibition. The key to achieving such extensive coverage was the use of customised releases and photography to highlight the work of local pupils, which maximised uptake, especially by print and online media, throughout

Argyll and Bute Council/ACHA

As joint communications adviser to the Council and Argyll Community Housing Association (ACHA), we helped achieve this success through intensive proactive communications.
This included frequent media announcements, the establishment of a strong brand for ACHA, effective media coaching and staff training, as well as a platform of solid tenant engagement.
In addition, we devised the transfer trailer campaign which toured the area, visiting over 60 venues in five weeks.
Turnout in the ballot was almost 63%, higher than the national average. 79% of tenants polled said that the consultation materials we prepared influenced their voting intention.
